Unfortunately, as he didn’t know any proper presenters, he had to take a chance with the boggly-eyed bon vivant Russell Porter, a long time spanner in Nothing To See Here’s shimmering works.
Over the course of a summer the Reports captured the rather shallow imagination of the UK’s music loving public, catapulting Porter into the realms of renown normally reserved for Czech girls with webcams. With Kate Nash, Scroobius Pip vs dan Le Sac, The Maccabees , Blood Red Shoes, Foals and many more appearing on the reports long before they were troubled by the terrestrials, the ongoing series from the frontline of popular culture has established itself as an arbiter, if not a massive waste of everybody’s time.
